As a Control Management – Senior Associate within the International Consumer Bank, you will support enterprise risk frameworks across compliance and operational risk domains. You will contribute to governance, oversight, and execution of control management initiatives focused on resiliency, third-party oversight, data, and AI. You will partner with stakeholders across business, operations, technology, and control functions to drive consistency and adherence to firmwide standards. You will operate in a structured decision-making environment, applying critical thinking and judgment to address risk-related challenges. Your role will require collaboration and influence across teams to ensure integrated and effective control outcomes.
- Support execution of control management frameworks aligned with compliance and operational risk standards
- Contribute to the implementation of CORE framework initiatives as the business expands across regions and verticals
- Partner with stakeholders across business, legal, compliance, risk, audit, and technology to drive a consistent control approach
- Participate in projects and stakeholder requests, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones and outputs
- Provide status updates and support internal governance forums and meetings
- Collaborate with Central Control Management teams to align on priorities and enhance control frameworks
- Prepare presentations, analysis, and materials for senior stakeholders and management forums
- Analyze and manipulate data from multiple sources using Microsoft Excel to support reporting and insights
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in audit, internal controls, or operational risk management
- Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks and compliance principles
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and identify control gaps and emerging risks
- Strong analytical ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to operational risk
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities with attention to detail
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience working within financial services or a regulated environment
- Exposure to enterprise risk frameworks such as resiliency, third-party risk, or data risk
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in global environments
- Familiarity with governance, reporting, and control management tools
