We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager – Observability to lead the strategy, transformation, and enterprise adoption of observability and AIOps capabilities. This role will oversee multiple teams and platforms, driving innovation, operational excellence, and measurable business impact.
# Key Responsibilities
* Observability Strategy & Transformation: Define and own enterprise observability roadmap aligned with IT and business goals
* AIOps Leadership: Drive predictive operations using AIOps platforms such as BigPanda and ServiceNow
* Platform Ownership: Oversee platforms like Splunk, OpsRamp, AppDynamics, NetBrain, ThousandEyes
* SRE Enablement: Drive adoption of SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and reliability engineering practices
* Automation: Scale automation using Python, PowerShell, and orchestration tools
* Incident Excellence: Improve MTTR, MTTD through strong incident and problem management practices
* People Leadership: Build and scale high-performing teams including managers and leads
* Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with senior leaders and provide executive reporting
# Required Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, or observability
5+ years of leadership experience including managing managers
Experience with Splunk, OpsRamp, AppDynamics, NetBrain, ThousandEyes
Experience with AIOps tools such as BigPanda, ServiceNow AIOps
Strong understanding of SRE principles
Proficiency in Python and PowerShell
Strong ITIL knowledge
Excellent collaborator and communication skills
